Philadelphia, PA: Warren Oree & The Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble have released their sixth CD entitled: LifeLine. The Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble consists of: Warren Oree (leader, upright bass); Umar Raheem (tenor and soprano saxophone); Greg "Ju-Ju" Jones (drums); Frank Butrey (guitar) and Doug "Pablow" Edwards (congas, percussion). The LifeLine CD (Silk Skin Records) is comprised of all original compositions that are a blend of various musical styles, ranging from melodic to rhythmic.

"The LifeLine CD reflects the many faces and colors of the Arpeggio Ensemble. It contains all original compositions that call for, in the words of John Coltrane, "contemplation, or celebration," said Warren Oree, leader and bassist. "It's truly a representation of each group member's varied musical skills and professionalism. The drum beat is the heartbeat."

Warren Oree and The Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble have performed at many concerts and festivals throughout Philadelphia and the world.
